Yak Kharka at 4040 meters look like a rustic cowboy town of 1980’s. It is a flat pasture land, surrounded by high hills and offers a surreal views of mountains in the Annapurna region. There is nothing much to do or see in this place, except for the much required rest after tough day on the trails. Yak Kharka is merely a cluster of over 4-5 houses and not even close to a village.
