Thulo Syabru

Thulo Syabru is a small village located at an elevation of 2200 meters from sea level, in the langtang region and Rasuwa district of Nepal. It is a popular rest area amongst the trekkers in the region. The primary inhabitants of these village are Tamang people who have descended down from Tibet. Farming is the main profession of the villagers whereas tourism remains as second profession. The houses in the village are no different than any village in Nepal, the ground floor consists of stables and for animals whereas the first floor is where the villagers accommodate.

In the village of thulo syabru you will see women weaving and spinning woolen goods. These goods are either sold to the fellow villagers or villages and at times even carried down to nearby towns.
