Sing Gompa / Chandan bari

Sing Gompa at 3200 meters from sea level is a rest area in the famous Gosainkunda trek. It is as well known as Chandanbari. This is merely a village and more of a hamlet and a very beautiful one. The mountains Ganesh III and Ganesh IV are clearly visible from the village. The village also has a famous yak cheese processing center which received minor cracks from the earthquake but still is functioning in full phase.

The gompa in the village by which the entire village is known with has received remarkable destruction from the quake and is under construction at the moment.
