Namobuddha is a religious site for followers of Buddhism. This place is believed to be located 45 kilometers apart from one of the biggest Buddhist pilgrimages of Boudha, in Kathmandu. In other words, this hilltop of Namobuddha is adjacent to the historical town of Panauti.

This place acquires its name from the buddhist monastery, which is one of its kind, which is carved on the slope of a hill. The ambiance is surreal, serene and meditative and requires no artificial beautification. Several thousand pilgrims and tourist from and beyond the country flock to Namobuddha for vacation, meditation and several other purpose. Furthermore, this destination is linked by motorable road and one can easily navigate their way. However, this natural destination is much appreciated when reached by natural approaches which is by hiking. There are several trails linking Dhulikhel and Panauti to Namobuddha.
