Kande sits at an elevation of 1770 meters from sea level and falls in the Guru khola village development committee of Kaski district. This small roadside village is the initiation point of Mardi himal Trek and Dhampus trek. The village has just over 100 houses and less than 150 houses with less than 700 inhabitants. The village consists of a small school, health post and plenty of tea houses.
