Juphal at 2490 meters from the sea level is an airport village that is located approximately 3 hours away from one of the remarkable villages of Dunai, in the Dolpo region. The entire region is linked with the only airport namely Ranjha in this very village. The airport is not commercial and only handful of airlines operate in the region to transport cargo and people. The runway is not only 490 meters short and just good enough to land a twin otter but also is not paved.

The village is just a patch of mud and thatched roof houses and clustered complex which houses small shops, offices and hotels.
