Juphal is the only airport in the entire Dolpa. The airport is off road and has only 490 meters of runway with a bump in between. The flight to Dolpa is seasonal and the flights are before noon to avoid harsh winds that blows from Thulo Bheri.

The airport is strategically located on a hilltop, 3 hours away from the closest and remarkable village of Dunai.
