Ghale Gaun / Gahana Pokhara

Ghalegaun is a beautiful and idealistic village located on the laps of Annapurna region, in Lamjung district. It is located very close to Pokhara and is 108 kilometers northwest of Kathmandu valley and is the second best cultural model village in the south asia.

The village receives its name from the indigenous Ghale people who reside in the village. Furthermore, there are no lodges, teahouses or hotels in the village but only homestays. This village is one of the reasons why people opt for Ghalegaun Gahana pokhari trek or tour.
