Dingboche is another village in the Khumbu region which is located at an elevation of 4530 meters. It is popular amongst travellers as a rest area and a village to acclimatize for higher altitude. It serves trekkers and climbers who are heading to Everest, Ama Dablam and Ima Tse. The population of Dingboche is few hundreds and almost every household depends on tourism.

Dingboche offers basic facilities like tea house lodges and Daal Bhat for the travelers. It also offers satellite internet, which helps you stay connected with loved ones but at an expensive price. Dingboche temperature is warm in summers but below freezing in the winters and receives very less icy wind compared to Pheriche which is almost in similar elevation range.
