Deng is just away from around an hour from magnificent views and has beautiful camping ground. From Deng it is that one enters to Nubri valley. Nubri is a high valley, above 4000 meters from sea level, comprising Bihi, Prok, Lho and Sama Village Development Committees. Deng however is a tiny village located around 1800 meters and is inhabited by indigenous Gurungs practicing Buddhism.

Deng has limited accommodation option but fair enough for such rural location.
