Begnas Lake

Begnas is the second largest lake in the Kaski District of Nepal. Begnas covers an area of 49 km2 and lies in Lekhnath municipality and is around half an hour southeast of Pokhara valley.

Begnas lake is adjacent to one another lake namely Rupa which is comparatively smaller. This lake despite being very close to Pokhara receives very few tourists and is very serene. This is as well a freshwater lake and offers beautiful views of mountains. There are several eateries and budget guest houses as well as hotels in Begnas Bazaar as well as nearby the lake.
