Bandipur

Bandipur is a beautiful Newari village that is preserved at its best. The village lies atop a hill and above the highway side settlement of Dumre. Once a very happening rest area at the time of Silk route trade, Bandipur now is a quiet hill station that is not frequented by locals or international tourist. It is located at an elevation of 1030 m from the sea level and is as well a very good viewpoint for the mountains in the Annapurna range.

Few things to watch and do around Bandipur includes seeing the longest cave of Nepal namely Siddha Gufa. The thani mai temple perched on the top of Gurungche hill, the former parade ground and now the sports ground of Tudikhel and the temple of Bindebasini. Other than these, you can as well get involved in either rock climbing day trips or Paragliding.
