Bamboo is a village of less than 15 houses, at 2310 meters. It basically got its name for the dense forest of bamboo around the valley. Rhododendron on the other hand is equally beautiful and significant, throughout the valley. Since the teahouses in this place is very limited, it is wise enough to reach Bamboo as early as you can in high season, to book a place.
