Annapurna base camp 4130 meters is the first base camp. It is around 2 to 3 hours away from the base camp of Machhapuchhre. There are 4 teahouses on the basecamp and trekkers spend at least a night in here before heading down the trail. From here one can watch Annapurna glacier, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Singu Chuli, Annapurna I, Tent peak and various other peaks in the range. It’s basically heaven for mountain lovers.
