Tour Description
Muktinath Yatra/ Muktinath Tour/ Muktinath Darshan are few of many names for this tour. This trip is about visiting the holy shrine of Lord Muktinath. Muktinath is a temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. Furthermore, this temple is one of the most visited temples by Hindus in world. In contrast, this temple lies in the beautiful land of Mustang. Mustang is the northernmost corner of Nepalese territory.
To begin with, Muktinath Yatra can begin from 2 different locations. One, from Kathmandu, which is also the capital city of Nepal. Two, from Pokhara, which is the tourist capital of Nepal. On the other hand, this Muktinath Tour is accessible by 3 modes of transportation. One, by bus or jeep which would take you to the temple and back. Two, via aero-plane to Jomson and further, by a private jeep. Third, by helicopter from either Pokhara or from Kathmandu.
In other words, this Muktinath Darshan can take anywhere from 5 hours to 2 days. The length of this tour is dependent on the mode of transportation you choose. Regardless, this temple resides in a very beautiful landscape. Hence, no matter how you travel you will enjoy your trip to the fullest. The temple of Muktinath sits at an altitude of around 4100 meters. The elevation of the temple offers beautiful views of mountains. Few mountains in the surrounding includes Annapurna, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri.
Muktinath Yatra is a must do pilgrimage for followers of Hindu religion. This is because the pilgrims believe that paying homage in this temple opens doors of heaven. The name Muktinath is combination of two words Mukti and Nath. Mukti means freedom whereas Nath means lord. Whatever be the reason, this Muktinath Darshan is a must do trip in ones life. Come join us in this beautiful journey of heaven on earth and door to heaven. Book today!
