Sightseeing Boudhanath, Swayambhu and Namobuddha  

Since we do not cover a lot of places, we begin the day relaxed and around 9:00 am. After breakfast we head to the holiest and one of the oldest buddhist shrines in Kathmandu. We spend around 40 minutes of quality time watching the periphery of Boudhanath stupa. After completing Boudhanath sightseeing we see Namobuddha. Namobuddha is a highly regarded monastery and is located on the outskirts of Kathmandu. We will stay overnight in the monastery with the monks and enjoy their meal and lifestyle.

Drive to Lumbini

It's a long day drive to reach the most serene and the holiest land for followers of buddhism and that is Lumbini. It takes 8 hours from Kathmandu to Lumbini and with multiple breaks in between. Once we reach lumbini we just rest our bags and call it a day.

All day in Lumbini

There are several things to see in Lumbini and it would require a complete day to explore the entire area, relics and the modern day architecture. We watch the following:

• Mayadevi temple
• Ashoka Pillar
• Myanmar Golden temple
• Peace pagoda
• Rupadevi Temple
• Choling Gompa
• Chinese temple
• Tara foundation
• Crane sanctuary
• Lotus stupa

Lumbini - Kapilvastu - Lumbini

It takes around an hour from Lumbini to Kapilvastu. We head out after breakfast and around 9 in the morning. Kapilvastu is equally important pilgrimage site and the hometown of Siddhartha Gautama or Gautam Buddha. We will see:

• Tilaurakot complex
• Kapilvastu kingdom complex

After spending almost the entire day we will return back to Lumbini and call another day in Lumbini.

Lumbini - Kathmandu

This is the final day of Lumbini Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour. We begin our day around 8 am in the morning and if we plan to travel by road it will take 8 hours to reach Kathmandu. Once we reach our final destination we will transfer you to your hotel and hence your tour in Nepal comes to an end.
