You will meet your trek leader on this day and he would brief you about trekking to Everest base camp. The back office staff will prepare all required permits for your trekking and you will do the last minute shopping for your trekking along with your guide. While our back office staff get ready preparing permits from the government offices, our guides help you get acquainted with the country by taking you to the most happening market in Kathmandu.

Embark on an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Machikhola. The scenic drive takes you through terraced fields, small towns, and winding mountain roads. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and prepare for the trek to begin.

The trekking begins as you trek along the Budhi Gandaki River, navigating suspension bridges and rural villages. The trail continues to ascend gradually to Jagat, a local village with cobblestone-paved roads.

The hike today is done through dense forests, waterfalls, and lovely villages. You will hike through Philim, a Gurung village, and take a stunning trail to reach Deng. Take it easy in the peaceful surroundings of the mountains.

The trail goes up through dense forests and across numerous suspension bridges. You get fine views of white-capped summits on the way. Today's trek ends at Namrung, which is a village with Tibetan influences.

As you ascend, the landscape begins to change, and the vistas of Mount Manaslu and other Himalayan giants are stunning. The trail passes through villages where one can observe local culture and receive warm hospitality.

The trek to Samagaun is about traversing huge alpine meadows and typical Tibetan villages. The village lies at the foot of Mount Manaslu, offering great views and a serene atmosphere.

Rest day to acclimatize to the high altitude. You can explore the village, visit the sacred Pungyen Gompa, or hike a short distance to the nearby glacial lakes. Take in the peaceful vistas and rest before the next trek.

The path slowly climbs to Samdo, a Tibetan refugee settlement along the border of Tibet. En route, have spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Samdo provides a rich cultural experience and an opportunity to bond with local customs.

Today's trek is brief but a steady climb to Dharmashala, or Larke Phedi. This marks the start of the Larkya La Pass. Rest and acclimatize for tomorrow's challenging climb.

This is the most challenging and rewarding day of the trek as you cross the Larkya La Pass (5,106m). The ascent offers breathtaking views of the Manaslu range, Himlung Himal, and Annapurna II. Descend from the pass to Bhimthang, a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains.

Descend through pine and rhododendron forests to Goa. The trek offers great scenery of the countryside around and a sense of achievement after having crossed the pass.

The final day of the trek has you at Tiche, where you will be driven to Besishaar. Enjoy the beauty of the hills, rivers, and villages along the way.

Either drive back from Besishaar to Kathmandu or drive on to Pokhara, a lovely lakeside town. If you drive to Pokhara, sightsee, take cultural tours, and see Phewa Lake and the World Peace Pagoda. Alternatively, you can drive straight back to Kathmandu if you prefer.
