Yangjakot is located at 1450 meters from the sea level and is located in Kaski district of western Nepal. It is a very important village along the Siklis village trek because it serves trekkers with accommodation and food. This is a pretty big village of indigenous Gurung people radiating a lot of culture and religion. This village is as well located on a hilltop and in the center of the village is small yet man made pond where people gather around to kill time. The houses are made of stone slab houses with tin roofs but however you will see the houses with stone slab roofs as well. Furthermore, even the trail is paved with stone slabs. There are health posts, police station and as well the ACAP checkpost.
