Shey Gompa Rest Day

Shey is a very beautiful and sacred place and is worth exploring. The monastery, folklores and the crystal mountain is worth spending a day and knowing about. The rest day would as well act as much required rest to our walking. On the other hand, the frescoes, thangkas and the holdings of the Gompa. There are few other places like Kagyupa sect Gompa and hermitage of Thaksang.

Furthermore this holy land forbids killing of any animal and hence has become the home of blue sheep and snow leopard.
