Ringmo

Ringmo is charming village at an altitude of 3640 meters in the dolpo region. It is a picturesque, medieval looking settlement of flat roof houses, carved mani walls and chortens. Comparatively it is a rest area in upper dolpo circuit with basic and few handful teahouses. There is a campsite as well right after the city and close to Shey Phoksundo national park checkpost. There are plans to convert ringmo as a homestay village but for now it is just a village with basic facilities.
