Pisang is a village development committee in the district of Manang. This small village lies in the northern Nepal and beyond the mountains of Annapurna. The village is divided into two by the river flowing from in between lower and upper Pisang. This is a popular rest area for trekkers trekking in Nepal, doing Annapurna circuit and Tilicho lake.
The village is a tibetan settlement of Manange and the land is very dry and arid. Although the entire village is inhabited, due to less vegetation it looks very desolated. On the other hand the views from upper Pisang is beautiful and has also beautiful buddhist temple and prayer walls.
