A lot of mani walls and chortens on the way to Mu Gompa signs of the monastery being very close. It lies at 3700 meters and the views of Ganesh himal to the east and Singri himal to the west. The view of river down below, the hidden glacier and the peaks of Taya himal and Pashuwo is as well very captivating. There is no place in Mu Gompa which offers accommodation and food but just the Gompa and open space for camping.
