Kyanjin Gompa always has been the center of attraction of Langtang valley trek. It lies at an elevation of 3860 meters from the sea level and it is a religious center for buddhist Tamangs in the region. This monastery received heavy pounding from the 2015 earthquake. Not just the monastery but also the teahouses in the periphery.
In the recent days, the monastery is under construction with the help of Nepalese and foreign aid as well as volunteers. There are several temporary accommodations built for the monks as well as people have started building teahouses for trekkers trekking in Langtang region.
