Khopra Danda or Khopra ridge sits at an elevation of 3660 meters from the sea level, in the Myagdi District of Nepal. Khopra ridge falls in the Annapurna region and is developing as a viewpoint for the mountains in the Annapurna region.
The views of Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche peak, Thapa peak, Nilgiris, Baraha Shikhar and Annapurna South and sunrise and sunset over these snow clad peak is a life altering scenery.
The ridge has one community owned lodge, which is opened year around. In case of these rooms being full, the community as well offers tents and camping ground. This place is also frequented by local tourists once in a year for Yak fresh blood drinking festival. It is believed in the community that drinking fresh Yak blood twice a year would help you solve gastritis problems and increase sexual stamina.
