We would stay another day in Dingboche and the sole purpose of the day is to acclimatize for the higher ground. We would wake up as early as 6 in the morning and have our breakfast. Immediately after the breakfast, we leave our luggage behind and carry our day pack and start hiking. We climb some 500 meters and to one of the adjacent nameless hill.
We can also go to Chukung Ri but it would be a long acclimatization hike that would leave us exhausted for the following day. So we embark on our journey and complete the acclimatization trip by next 6-7 hours. From the top we would get the closest and the best view of Ama Dablam, whereas the views of Thamserku, Kangtega, Kongde, Taboche and Cholatse as well will entice your feelings.
The walk of the day is pretty stiff and fairly strenuous but we would get back to Dingboche by lunch. After lunch we have around half day with us which we will spend touring the village, playing card or talking to each other. At times we as well invent our own games and pastime activity. The whole idea is to not sleep around the day time. We will spend another night in Dingboche.
