Dharapani at 1960 meters is an important village that falls along the Annapurna circuit trek trail. It’s one of the developed village when compared to the others in the region and has a police station, post office and hotels with better facilities. There is as well an ACAP office where permits of trekkers bypassing are checked.

Dharapani is where Dudh Khola and Marsyangdi comes together to form a bigger tributary. On the other hand, Dharapani is where Annapurna circuit trek trail meets the Manaslu circuit trek trails.
