Chapagaun is another medieval Newari village that lies in the southwest region of the Kathmandu valley. The old and rustic buildings faced a massive destruction from the 2015 earthquake. There are only few old buildings left in this village. However, the brick paved alleys and the temples of Narayana, Krishna and vairab are very beautiful. The main center of attraction or the reason behind the local tourist flocking down in this village is for the shrine of Bajra Barahi.
