Changu Narayan lies around half an hour north of Bhaktapur and is famous pilgrimage and tourist sight. The temples sits on the mid way of a hill and is a beautiful representation of the Lichhavi period. The temple and its surrounding was badly affected by the 2015 earthquake and is going through heavy restoration work. However, this UNESCO world heritage site is worth the see.
Except for the Changu Narayan temple, the living tradition museum and the Changu museum is worth every exploration. These museum houses 400 artifacts from different ethnic groups from all over the country.
