Arughat

Arughat is a village which is initiation point for Manaslu and Tsum valley bound treks. A lot of trekkers opt for this place as a result of avoiding painstaking hours on a vehicle on an off road track to Barpak or Laprak. Arughat is split into half by Buri Gandaki river and the village is linked by off road at the both end; from Dhading to the south and from Gorkha to the North.

The village is a big stretch and has around over 500 household. Highly affected by the 2015 earthquake, half of the houses in this village have been destroyed. There still remain police station, lodges, health posts and permit check point.
