What to Pack for Everest Base Camp

Mt. Everest base Camp located in Nepal on the height of 5,364m or 17,598ft (28°0′26″N 86°51′34″E). Base Camp of Mt Everest is used by the climbers during the stage of their accent and decent. Things are carried by Sherpas, Porters & yaks until the Camp of Mount Everest in Nepal . Before visiting any destinations, its always important to know about the place and the things you should take with you to the destination. Everest base camp trip is believed to be one of the hard and adventurous trip in world, For sure, a trekker / a visitor must know what would be the best things to fill up a bag with before making Everest Base camp a spot.

Fallowing the Sherpa capital at Namche and passing through pine trees and following the Dudh Koshi river you arrives at the Base Camp of Mt Everest. To get to Everest Base Camp, most people travel through Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. From Kathmandu, you will fly to Lukla, a small city situated at 9,383 ft., where the real trekking begins.

Gloves:

You are going to rode through the snow and of course your hands need Warmth. Inner gloves are one of the essential things to protect the hands. Inner gloves act as your next to skin layer. We recommend light-weight, quick drying inner gloves made from fleece material. Your outer glove needs to be super warm, waterproof and very durable. So pairs of outer gloves and pairs of inner gloves are recommended. For being reliable, branded gloves are best.
Boots,shoes and Socks:

Your hiking boots are probably the most important item you can bring on your Everest Base Camp trek – your feet are what get you to base camp and back. The wrong size boots will result in painful blisters, lost nails and sore feet. If you don’t have proper boots, believe me you wont be the first person to reach Everest Base camp with poor boots. After you reach the spots for the evening rest or for tea shops break, you can use your light shoes. Good shoes with good socks will for sure keep you safe from frost. 4-6 pairs of socks are essential things. If possible, Merino wool socks are best as they can breath and keep foot less damp and soggy.

The best bags are made of waterproof laminate material, have strong and sturdy zippers. 80-90 L bags are good because they might be okay to keep the whole of the things for the whole trek. For carrying with self 40-50L of back pack is good. The North-face branded Bags are always lit!

Sleeping bag are magic during travelling. They can keep us warm during night cold and provide relaxation while sleeping. Trekking poles reduce the strains and pressure in the knee by 20%.

Sunglasses and water bottle are two essential things. Glasses keep eyes safe and Water bottle keep us alive during dry walks.

Clothes:
