Nepal is a small landlocked country lying between two big countries India and China. Geographically, Nepal is regarded as a sandwich between China and India. It is the mountainous country carrying massive Himalayan range and has very rich biodiversity. Indeed, Nepal is a travel destination for thousands of travelers all around the world.

Nepal offers a huge variety of outdoor adventures sure to satisfy even the most daring traveler. Whitewater rafting in the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli, canyoning, rock climbing, mountain biking, mountaineering and paragliding are just a few of the many exhilarating options. If you‘re particularly brave, you can experience the second-highest bungee jump in the world, which happens to take place over the mighty Bhote Koshi River. Whatever your pleasure, be aware of the risks and use caution during your adventures. For enjoying such adventures its up to travelers to do the things being responsible about their health conditions and skills to enjoy the adventures. When the trekking is being arranged by a reputed trekking agency, most of the contingencies will be handled by its staff. But when trekking alone, you may not have anyone to turn to for help. The possibilities of mobile phone and internet service are extremely limited in remote areas. Therefore, trekkers should either hire a good trekking agency or hire reliable guides if trekking in smaller groups.

As of June 2008, the much awaited Comprehensive Peace Accord was signed between the government of Nepal and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoists) formally announcing an end to a decade long armed insurgency by the Maoists. The signing of Peace Accord also put full stop to illegal donations collected by Maoists from trekkers in the different trekking routes. Now tourists can go anywhere in Nepal without any problems. In April 2008, the election of Constitutional Assembly was completed peacefully and fairly. In this election Maoist got huge support from the public and they are in the Government now.  A decade of Maoist war was a big problem for the travelers around the world to visit Nepal but now even it has also been solved.
Altitude sickness can be the big problem for the travelers in Nepal who are planning to travel Himalayas. Specific safety measures should be followed for the Altitude sickness problems.

Safe water is another issue that effect the safety level of travelers. Carrying boiling pan will be the good prevention from the several probable water borne disease in Nepal. The traditional manner of greeting in Nepal involves placing your palms together in a prayer style and saying “namaste” or “namaskar”. Address anyone older than you with respect using the terms “dai” for men and “didi” for women. And avoid stepping over someone‘s outstretched legs or touching anyone with your feet as these are considered impolite.

Regarding to the legal issues, you must have the required certificates and documents you need to carry with you for visiting a country like others. There are safe provisions of pick ups and carrying upto the destinations by the numerous travel agencies that are common in the Kathmandu Valleys. For now, Nepal is one of the most safe country to travel . The only measures to follow while travelling is weather precautions, for others it is peaceful and beautiful undoubtedly.
