Sirung at 1854 meters is a village in the district of lamjung, in Nepal. The village is surrounded by forest of pine and orchids, whereas the villagers main occupation is farming and raising livestock. The village in recent years is as well relying on tourism. The village women till the day are engaged in their traditional weaving of hemp and nettle fiber. The accommodation and fooding is very basic and options remain limited.
