Langtang is a himalayan range to the north of Kathmandu valley. The himalayas which is immediately seen once the mountain flight takes off is none other than the Langtang range. The himalayas in this range connects with the Tibetan plateau in the north. The himalayas are housed in the Langtang national park which covers an area of 1710 square kilometer and is home to 4500 people.
