The history dates back to the the era of Lichhavi dynasty, which means before the city was known as Kathmandu. The village in early days was a settlement of Gopali people who were known as the herders but in the present day people of different communities reside in the village.
Chitlang has mind boggling grassland surrounded by small hills. The natural beauty besides the mountain will certainly be captivating.
